Why We Love Living in Raleigh NC!

When looking for a place to settle down or relocate, it really is hard to beat all of the amenities that Raleigh and the Triangle area have to offer.

Raleigh has the excitement and attractions of a large city combined with the appeal and affordability of a classic Southern town. Here are some of the highlights of living in Raleigh NC:

North Carolina Sports

Whether you’re in the mood for a round of golf or an edge-of-your seat football game or NHL hockey, the Greater Raleigh area has a game for everyone. See a professional baseball game at the Carolina Mudcats’ ballpark. With several surrounding colleges and universities along Tobacco Road, there’s ample time to catch a great football or basketball game as well.

Parks and Nature in North Carolina

Greater Raleigh Parks & Gardens have the unofficial motto, “Trees, Tees and PhD’s,” and for good reason. With more than 150 Raleigh, North Carolina parks, gardens, lakes and greenways in Raleigh alone, there are plenty of places to enjoy the scenery and see why the area was dubbed as America’s No. 8 Great Garden Cities in an issue of Garden Design Magazine.

Higher Education in North Carolina

As one of the three “corners” of the Research Triangle, Raleigh’s academic research network begins with North Carolina State University in Raleigh and is enhanced by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Duke University and North Carolina Central University in Durham. All of these North Carolina Universities are within a 30-minute commute of each other and are only 10-15 minutes from Research Triangle Park, one of the nation’s largest and most prestigious planned research centers located in Durham and Wake Counties.

No wonder so many people are relocating to Raleigh!
