Those of us who live and work in the “Triangle” have come to use the term generally as a geographical point of reference to the Research Triangle Park to describe the overall area. North Carolina is a beautiful state. My first husband’s father retired there and we visited. We had to go to the Triangle because my husband sold electronic test equipment and it was like a gold mine for him.
